Unparalleled access to Cuba's dance and music scene
As an award winning producer and video director, Kerry Ribchester has worked with most of Cuba’s top Salsa orchestras, including Los Van Van, Alexander Abreu and Maykel Blanco to name a few. This personal relationship allows Key2Cuba clients an unparalleled access to Cuba’s music scene, from backstage photo shoots and signings, to unique events, such as the recording of Alexander Abreu’s album at Egrem Studios. Her videos always celebrate the dynamic talents, passion and fluidity of Cuban dancers, especially focusing on female empowerment and sensuality.

The right place at the right time
At Key2Cuba, we focus on offering the most unique and authentic experience of the dynamic Havana dance scene. We pride ourselves on being at the latest ‘happening‘ places and spontaneously creating them. With our dancers, we are the dance party wherever we go!
Each group and trip has its own unique focus making the most of the newly opened or renovated Salsa clubs, seeing the latest top bands, attending new cultural events and indulging in the wild Matinee Largas (the extended Salsa matinees with two or three groups). The itinerary is meticulously planned with options a,b,c and d and the weather conditions in mind. Between 20 - 38% of our clients are repeat customers, so it is a priority to keep the holidays fresh and inspiring.

VIP Smooth entrance to clubs

We have two experienced production managers taking care of the group at the matinees and evening events, along with the dancers and we have great relationships with all the major clubs, so smooth access to the VIP table in every club is assured. Queuing in the rain or heat for a concert just doesn’t happen with Key2Cuba. Kerry oversees all trips, so back stage access to have photos with the bands or have dinner with them is always a possibility.
Off the tourist track
Our programme outside of the classes is culturally diverse and will give you a unique insight into life in Cuba and the Afro-Cuban culture. We include off the tourist track concerts, new venues with live music, stunning new locations for private Rumba parties and Bembes, new male and female teachers working alongside our established team, and we are always being invited to extra-ordinary events like the recording party of Alexander Abreu’s new album, a rehearsal of Los Van Van or backstage VIP passes on the Sea front concerts with crowds of 200,000. We stay backstage with the bands and their families.
