Kerry Ribchester’s Juicy Cuban Body Movement Master Classes
Kerry Ribchester - one of the UK’s leading experts on Cuban style Salsa - led a four hour master class on Cuban body movement at the Chisenhale Dance Space, Chisenhale Road, Bow E3 this Sunday (3rd February).
Just back from Cuba, inspiration and passion pouring out of her and on a one woman mission to put the fun back into salsa, this workshop was designed to reach the bits other salsa classes don’t even know exist. The result - curvaceous and sassy salsa for the gals and loose-limbed machismo for the guys.
The only hurdle is finding the venue in the back of beyond in London’s East End. Apparently, when asked, even locals had no idea where the studio was.
Kerry’s doing four more master classes: on 10th FEBRUARY (10 - 2pm) Applying the Body Movement of Afro-Cuban dance and Rumba to your Salsa; 24th FEBRUARY (2 - 6pm) Applying the Body Movement of Son and Contra-tiempo into your Salsa; 2nd MARCH (2 - 6pm) Cadillac lead and following in Salsa and Rueda 16th MARCH (10 - 2pm) Recap of all workshops plus Reggaeton.
