Day 4

3 hours Salsa Tuition with celebrity Cuban teachers and the Key2Cuba Team.

Free afternoon to go sight seeing, visit the pool nearby or have a siesta.

Dinner – in the home of a Cuban friend. Home cooking Cuban style.

Evening – Late night dancing with the dancers at the Bamboleo concert

Day 5

Breakfast as usual on the rooftop terrace with stunning views over Havana. Free morning.

Afternoon – free Guided Tour of Old Havana with visits to the artisan market, cathedral, shops, and museum.

Late Afternoon/Evening Visit to the Salsa Club on an island made of shells. Very popular, beautiful location with all the dancers spoiling you on the dance floor.

Day 6

3 hours of Salsa classes at 5 levels.

Matinee Salsa with live band, in the company of all our dancers in an intimate and lively club.

Dinner in the most famous Cuban restaurant. Eat as much Cuban chicken, beans, rice, salad and plantain as you want.

Drinks in the piano bar.

Day 7

Travel up into the mountains of Pinar del Rio to the luxury resort La Moka set into the mountainside.

This eco-friendly Biosphere paradise is home to a self-sufficient 1000 strong community.

Visit the Coffee Plantation. See the views from both sides of Cuba, the Atlantic & the Gulf of Mexico.

Welcome Dinner. Salsa Party with the Cuban Salsa teachers. All rooms with ensuite & balcony and one whole wall of glass opening out onto magnificent views.

Day 8

1 hour Salsa Class around the pool area.

The whole hotel will be Key2Cuba clients only. Salsa Party with live band.

Afternoon – Visit the artisan shops in the community including the perfumer, painter, patisserie, and chill at the coffee shop.

Salsa Party with the 1000 strong community in the Salsa Club overlooking the mountain range. 

Day 9

Relax, sunbathe, and swim in the stunning River for the day .Bask in the naturally formed  pools with massages under the cascades and a live band to serenade us as we party by the river.

There is also a canopy tour by rope through the whole area for the adventures.

Evening Dinner at the Terrace restaurant followed by dancing in the tree house bar.

Day 10

Return to Havana and check into Hemingway’s hotel.

Free afternoon to relax and unpack.

Evening Salsa Party with the dancers at wherever Los Van Van are playing. Meet the band and get your CD’s signed.

Day 11

3 hours of Salsa & Rumba.

Late afternoon – Private Rumba Party with Cuba’s leading Rumberos.

Dinner at the Gypsy restaurant.

Walk home with the dancers along the seafront – dancing, singing and being serenaded by local musicians.

Day 12

Visit the home, studio and Rumba Party of the famous artist – Salvador Gonzalez.

Meet his wife and enjoy a home grown Mojito cocktail. Guided by our principle dancer Juan Carlos and our translator, uncover the history of the religion, the dances, and meanings of the Santaria. 

By midday there is a free Rumba Party in full flow.

Lunch in Old Havana

Evening - Dancing with the dancers at an amazing open air Salsa Club by the sea. Dance with all the local Salseros too, and one of our famous teachers Michel, will be leading the animation as the MC, so expect to party!

Day 13

3 Hours of Classes.

Free afternoon for shopping, visiting museums, tobacco factory  and or Rum Museum. 

Dinner at the Capitola restaurant – great food and live piano.

Salsaring – 11-6am with Mikael Blanco; the wildest party of the week.

Regular bus transfers to hotel after 3am.

Day 14

The last Salsa Class, 3 hours with a short ceremony to say Thank You and to take photos together 

Free afternoon. 

The Bembe

A totally off the tourist track exclusive!

Enjoy a home cooked meal in a private house of one of the dancers,  outside of Havana. Salsa with all the neighbours and experience a real Cuban Bembe. Feel the electricity as the dancers perform the dances of their Gods with live drumming and singing. You will be moved!

Salsa at the local club, five minutes from the hotel, La Florida with all the dancers and resident live band and then a party back at our hotel.
