Hola Salseros,
Apologies for being offline over the past couple of weeks. We’ve been preparing for our busiest summer for some time with two large groups heading out to Cuba. Our August trip started at the weekend - just as tropical storm Faye was passing over. Although a bit wet, it didn’t take the group long to throw themselves into the dance classes, beach parties and salsa clubs. Our September group follows in a couple of weeks, and we are already two thirds full for our New Year trip, so don’t leave it too late if you want to get away for New Year!
We begin 2009 in style with an 11 night trip to Havana at Valentines. If you’re a couple, this will be an ideal opportunity to enjoy the romance of Havana. If you’re single and just want to get away, this trip is perfect for you too - you’ll emerse yourself into Cuba’s music and culture before being swept off your feet in the clubs by our dancers.
We’re continually being asked what dates we’re doing next year. At the moment, apart from Valentines, we’ve pencilled in August and September, but this depends on you. Let us know if you have a preferred period, and we’ll bear that in mind before we finalise our 2009 dates.
We have an interview coming up with Tania, lead singer of one of Cuba’s top bands, Bamboleo. I’ll be adding Part 1 of the interview to the site over the weekend, which will focus on Tania, the solo artist. We will have Part 2 of the interview in a few weeks, which will focus on Tania , from Bamboleo!
We’ll keep you updated so please keep checking back for more posts.¼/p>
