Uncategorized, Workshops No Comments »

Starting Sunday 3rd February with Kerry Ribchester
2.00 - 6.00pm

I have just returned from 3 phenomenal weeks in Havana, Cuba. As well as training with Juan de Dios and dancing for a minimum of 8 hours a day with my team of dancers and Key2Cuba clients, I had the honour of interviewing Samuel from Los Van Van and Tania, the lead singer and Queen of ladies styling from Bamboleo. Listening to their life stories, and their experiences of performing Salsa/Son has been all inspiring and I am ready reveal everything I have learnt and what  I believe to be the latest secrets of Cuban styling. This is a whole new level of class I am about to teach. Why not join us for the first class and kick-start your Cuban Salsa for 2008! The first workshop ‘The 7 Secrets of Cuban Styling’ will set the tone by deepening your understanding of the principles of Cuban technique, style, attitude and body movement. It is designed to make you look and feel as sensual and graceful as a true Cuban dancer.

Hola Salseros,

Kerry has now returned from Cuba with our addicted salsa group and our enticing salsa teachers.  She’ll have lots to tell about Cuba, the music, the holidays and maybe one or two surprises, so please check back regularly for the latest news from Havana.

For those of you who want to learn more about how to dance “a lo cubano”, Kerry is running a series of workshops in London next month.  Please check out the website www.key2cuba.com/workshops for more information.

Salsa Dance Holiday

Cuba, Holidays No Comments »

Hola Salseros,

Welcome back from Cuba to our Salsa dancers who have just arrived back from Havana after two weeks practicing their dancing, seeing some of the greatest Cuban bands and having a dream New Year in the heart of Havana.  It would be great to have your feedback.

Kerry is still in Cuba and I hope we’ll be getting some exclusive interviews with some of Cuba’s top artists so stay tuned.

Please check out our new photo and video gallery on the Key2Cuba site.   It would be great to have you join us for one our trips in April, August or September this year.

Cuba - New Photo Gallery

Cuba, Holidays No Comments »

Hola Salseros,

Kerry is currently still in Cuba with our group who were lucky enough to spend the New Year in the heart of Havana.  I’m looking forward to their feedback on their return next week where I’m sure they’ll make us feel jealous of all the salsa dancing they’ve been doing over the past two weeks.

In the meantime, I have been busy updating the photo and video gallery.  This should be online by the end of the week and will feature a host of new photos and videos taken from our last Cuban dance holiday in August.  Our clients had a great time as you will see and we were offered many opportunities to see the real Cuba not normally open to ordinary tourists.  This included a local dance competition held in the outskirts of Havana where we had the opportunity to see and gasp at the wealth of talent of Cuba’s young salsa dancers.

I’ll keep you updated as to when the new gallery will be online.
